About Ultrasonic Liposuction
A specially-designed cannula (or tube) is used to first disrupt the targeted fat cells with high-energy sound waves. Fat deposits get larger not because there are more fat cells, but because the fat cells themselves swell. This swelling makes fat cells vulnerable to disruption by ultrasonic energy that leaves stronger connective tissue, blood vessels, and other tissue relatively unharmed. UAL is excellent for removing fatty deposits that may have been difficult to capture with the traditional liposuction process. In fact, UAL is often effective on regions of the body with tough tissue that is resistant to the traditional method.
